We are an archery club that shoots at Baldersby Park just outside Thirsk in North Yorkshire, England. The present club was started in May 1994 with just four members. The club continues to grow each year and there are now almost 100 members, including a junior section.
We are a friendly club that welcomes archers of all abilities, and the club house is wheelchair friendly. We have an active membership shooting a range of disciplines including recurve, compound and long bow. The club caters for both target and clout archery.

The club has a number of Archery GB (GNAS) coaches, who run the clubs Beginners course. The coaches also hold an Improvers course each year, and Junior coaching is held through-out the year.
The club has an outdoor shooting venue which is available all year round. The venue is open to members any time of the day for shooting . The club shoots at East Thirsk Community Centre during the winter on Tuedays and Fridays. For more information, please see the 'Shooting Times / Venues' page.
The club holds a number of competitions through-out the year for members. The club also hosts a WA720 shoot every year, with the event taking place over 2 days. For more information, please see the 'Tournaments' section.
